The following goals of the Proud Lion program must be successfully attained by the Protege Lion under the guidance of the mentoring Lion (sponsor) and qualify for the Proud Lion award.
Protege Lion

  • Attend a club board meeting; includes virtual meetings.

  • Participate in a club service or fund‐raising activity.

  • Introduce a new prospective member to the club.

  • Visit another club and secure a visitation slip.

  • Attend a zone, region, district, or multiple district meeting and report back to the club.

  • Attend a New Member Orientation
    The goals listed above must be attained with the specified six (6) month period and that the sponsor accompanied the Protege Lion to each of the five activities.

ATTENTION: Club Secretary ‐ To obtain a free lapel pin for the Proud Lion,

fill out the electronic form at www.md4lions.org and it will be sent to your District GMT Coordinator who will present the pin.

The annual “MD4 Lions Leadership Institute” is provided as a service to the clubs and membership of the Multiple District. The course curriculum gives to the attendees an experience designed to increase their knowledge of Lions and increase the skills necessary for them to help their club excel in serving their communities. The institutes will be live with a 50 maximum
