For over 100 years, Lions Clubs International has been a global leader in vision care, answering Helen Keller’s call to be “Knights of the Blind.” From sight-saving surgeries and eyeglass recycling to vision screenings and blindness prevention, Lions work tirelessly to bring the gift of sight to those in need.
Now, we challenge YOU!
Step up and make an impact by organizing vision screenings, collecting used eyeglasses, supporting local eye care initiatives, providing aid to the blind and visually impaired or spreading awareness about preventable blindness. Whether through a one-time project or ongoing efforts throughout the year, every action counts.

It is very easy to help promote. Just add the Helen Keller brand to all your vision related service events you have already planned during 2025. This action will help create a consistency throughout California. The result will not only create cohesion among our clubs it will create an awareness to the public, demonstrating the challenge made to Lions a century ago, that is still going strong!
