MD4 Council of Governors announce the establishment of a special convention June 3 to June 5, 2026. The purpose of the convention is to obtain a vote of the general membership to approve the sale of the property at 129 Los Aguajes Ave, Santa Barbara, California.  California Corporations Code Section 5911(a)(2) requires approval of the sale by the corporation’s members “either before or after the transaction.”  The Council has decided it is in the best interests of the general membership and for full transparency to seek approval of the sale prior to its completion.

The convention will require registration and attendance at the event via Zoom, as permitted by California Corporations Code Section 5510(f).  Clubs may begin entering their delegates in the Lions Portal beginning on or about May 3, 2026.  Clubs and delegates must be in good standing to participate in the vote.
